Hal Michael Ketchum (April 9, 1953-November 23, 2020) was an American country music singer and songwriter. Nashville's Bluebird Caf has played host to countless country stars in its nearly 40 years of existence, and was even used as a featured location on the ABC hit Nashville. A social media post from his wife explained his passing was due to complications from dementia. Ketchums 1991 debut LP for Curb Records, Past the Point of Rescue, sold in excess of 600,000 copies, earning him a gold record.
